Word on the street from University Covenant Church in Davis, Ca…

"Just want to let you know about an exciting event to be held in Davis at the end of October.  Dr. Chap Clark is coming to University Covenant Church in Davis on October 28 and 29 to speak to parents, youth leaders, counselors and educators.  Chap is an expert on youth culture, and author of the book Hurt: Inside the World of Today’s Teenagers.  He is also the director of the Student Leadership Project and Institute of Youth Ministry as well as an associate professor of youth, family and culture at Fuller Seminary. During his visit, Chap will address issues such as peers, school,
family, sex, depression, self-injury, busyness, and partying, as well as the pervasive sense of abandonment affecting our youth.  Thankfully, Chap will also offer strategies for how we can begin to address these issues!"
