My friend Andrew loves the snow. I have to agree with him. We loved when it would snow in Princeton. WE miss it much! This morning I woke up t0 32 degrees…only if it would rain now.

After reading this post, this next week should be an interesting week in blogging in the land of emergent. I don’t claim any side, what I do enjoy is the discussion taking place which I believe will only empower the church universal in rethinking how to do church in the 21st century. We had Sweet at our church last year, and I was very impressed with his presentation on post-modernity issues and its relevance in the church today. Was Satan present???? Nope.

After I picked up my kids this morning from school, our oldest says, "dad, when my teacher finishes all of the work we have to do for the day, he pulls out a book of fun facts for us to talk about. (paraphrased) "Dad, did you know that another name for a baby cow is a calf? Did you also know that another name for a baby sea elephant is a wiener?" Thank God for our public schools…I’m so happy for the high quality of education that my kids receive on a daily basis. hehe.
